Is TendForm free?
Yes — and generously. The free plan is ad-supported and lets you publish up to 100 active forms and 10 active pages, with unlimited responses. Active means published; drafts and unpublished or paused forms and pages do not count toward these caps. Pro removes ads and lifts the caps for $19.99/month.
What do I get with Pro?
Pro ($19.99/mo) removes the ad on completion screens, lifts limits, and unlocks file uploads and advanced features. Everything else works on free.
What is the HIPAA plan?
The HIPAA plan ($49/mo) is for collecting Protected Health Information. It includes everything in Pro plus a signed BAA, an isolated encrypted PHI enclave, audited access, and archive retention controls. Flip any form into HIPAA mode and its responses route to the enclave.
Do I need the HIPAA plan for intake forms?
Use the HIPAA plan when collecting PHI that requires a BAA. Free and Pro are for forms that do not collect PHI. The HIPAA plan provides the BAA and PHI-specific safeguards described on our HIPAA page; your organization remains responsible for its own compliance.
Can I collect responses without branding?
Pro and HIPAA remove the TendForm badge. On free, a small 'Made with TendForm' link appears on published forms.
